Personal Review:

This is a personal carry item for me I have one in my truck, my bug out bag and keep and on my ATV just in case. We also have one for each member of the family.

OK so I had to test it and hope it really worked because I was going to be 20 miles from home and on foot didn’t need to be getting sick from contaminated water. although I boiled my cooking and coffee water I used this little straw to drink right from the lake and streams I was camped on. I even added purification tablets to a bottle of lake water and let it sit for a couple of hours and then used the Survival Spring to see if it removed the after taste those tablets leave, no after taste just like drinking straight from the lake. I also filtered some dirty trail water through coffee filter with some sand and gravel I then used the Survival Spring to sample the water no lingering after taste, water tasted clean and fresh.

In my opinion this little water filter could be a survivalist best friend in the back country or a SHTF situation.
